Why do we need money to make a film?

  • Film Locations

    Having the right location, whether on-site or in a studio, is crucial to filmmaking. Locations require permits, insurance, and paying for the actual space.

  • Craft Services

    Craft services refers to all of the food and beverages we need to keep the cast and crew fueled for our 12+ hour days.

  • Film Equipment

    Owning lighting and camera equipment is expensive, but thankfully we can save money by renting only what we need when we need it while we ramp up our production capabilities.

  • Film Festivals

    After a film is complete, we have to pay to enter it into film festivals. Getting it in front of other industry professionals and hopefully winning awards is how we can monetize the film so we can fund future productions.

  • Cast and Crew Pay

    We want to pay our people for their skills, artistry, and time. Our dream is to be a production company that pays our team members annual wages so they have stability and can thrive doing what they love.

All donations will be put into Visibilis Productions, LLC business account. We believe in full transparency, and we will show exactly how much money we raised and how it was spent.

We want to begin paying our team members for their skills and time for the films we make. However, for 48 Hour Film Projects, nobody is allowed to be paid for their services, so all funds would go to the other costs of making a film.

Donating now will fund our first full-length feature film. We plan to monetize the film to raise money for future productions and fund a nonprofit that focuses on improving disability accommodations in public education.
